BETHANY TRAVIS

Bethany Travis - Site Collaborator - Gluten Free Momma, Allergy Friendly, Autism

Bethany Travis, who goes by Bee, is a full time caregiver to her husband, Thomas who sustained combat related permanent injuries during his time in the Army.

Together they have 3 amazing daughters who are Bee’s true inspiration. Ella is Autistic with Sensory Processing Disorder and Celiac Disease. The diagnosis of Celiac began Bees Allergy Friendly baking journey in 2015.

Bee is a fierce special needs advocate as well.

LeighAnn, has complex medical needs but even on her worst days, her smile will light up a room.

Bee’s baby, Norah, was born allergic to dairy. This changed Bee’s allergy friendly baking and pushed her to find new and creative recipes to provide safe and healthy treats for her family.

She loves the ocean and lives in sunny Florida with her family. While the south is her home now, the Midwest will always have her heart. She was born and raised in Northeastern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula Michigan. She learned to bait a hook, change a tire, hunt for deer and her dad was even her wrestling coach. He reminded Bee every day that she could do anything a boy could do. That brought her national and world wrestling titles. Her mother encouraged Bee’s pageant career that helped her win college Scholarships and learn public speaking with confidence.

While Bee has her hands full with caring for her husband and three daughters, she also makes time to care for others. She is a strong advocate and supporter for caregivers of disabled veterans and families of special needs individuals.

Bee is also a lash stylist with Tori Belle Cosmetics and thanks to her childhood pageant career she has a great eye for make up. Bee joined Tori Belle after trying the lashes and learning they are Celiac Safe. Many cosmetics contain gluten, parabens, latex or other products that can make some people very sick. Bee is very enthusiastic about her future with Tori Belle and bringing safe, beautiful lashes and makeup into homes everywhere.

Bee is a hobby photographer and finds joy in capturing emotions in still images. She believes in building others up and making lasting connections.
